Vocal Expressions

Vocal Expressions is managed by Anita Prime who has had over 20 years experience in the music industry.  Anita has a Diploma in Singing, qualifications in performance, and music theory, from the Trinity College of London, and has taught singing for over twelve years.

For five years she taught in intermediates and high schools using a unique delivery that not only inspired the youth, but started them on their career path producing and co-writing songs that they performed, recorded and sold.  Anita herself has also written and recorded many songs of her own.

Anita not only has a qualification in performance but has a strong performance background  singing at some of the largest venues in New Zealand including Parliament, the Michael Fowler Centre and The Westpac Stadium, Wellington.  She is not only known for her soul R&B sound but for her excellence in producing results with the people she works with.

She is currently teaching a range of ages from 5-67 years old.

Anita has taught many over the years including finalists from NZ Idol and

the members from the band ‘Evermore’ (who have currently 

topped the Australian charts with number 1 best seller, 'Light

Surrounding You' and have almost sold a quarter of a million albums. 

They are also about to go double platinum on their lastest album 'Real Life').

Recently Anita Prime caught the eye of Grammy Award Winner Ron Thaler, while doing a tour in New Zealand.  He was amazed at her voice and offered to produce her single “Serenade” “She came out of nowhere, she blew me away, I am totally stoaked to be involved with Anita’s tremendous talent.  She’s going to change the world.”
